The F35 Joint Strike Fighter Program is a program that produces an all-weather stealth multirole combat aircraft. It enables the user to have air superiority along with providing electronic warfare, intelligence and surveillance. It is produced by Lockheed Martin, a prime contractor. Lockheed Martin partners with Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems. Lockheed produces three variants of the aircraft. 

Why the F35 Program Matters:

The F35 Program provides:

-It provides tens of thousands of jobs, including some at NEDC.

-It gives the United States, and their partners, air superiority.

-It contains some of the most sophisticated technologies known to man in an aircraft. 

-It is critical for defense of the United States, and is also critical for continuing to be strong, and superior on the world stage.

Facts about NEDC:

-NEDC employs 50 employees that represent 50 families across New Hampshire, and Massachusetts

-NEDC has over 500 suppliers across all 50 states.

-NEDC is a small business woman owned business in Methuen, MA.

-NEDC supplies thermal pads, gaskets, electrical insulators, RF absorbers, and adhesive films for a number of industries.

Finally, NEDC calls on Congress to support the F35 Program in its entirety.
