MIL Spec Molded “O” Rings (“D” Profile)
Our Military Grade Conductive Elastomers are made to the stringent MIL-DTL-83528 standards and NEDC Sealing Solutions has been approved to manufacture Types A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L and M materials by the Defense Supply Center in Columbus. This allows us to extrude, mold or die-cut in excess of 1,000 different EMI shielding parts that meet the Mil-DTL-83528 requirements. NEDC Sealing Solutions specializes in conductive O-rings, extruded profiles, die-cut gaskets and molded conductive gaskets and sheets. NEDC Sealing Solutions also offers ways to utilize its unique manufacturing capabilities to reduce the overall cost of conductive gasketing as well as EMI/RFI shielding needs. Our Quick Turn Prototype capability allows you to test actual parts in as little as 24-48 hours. Our small quantity production methods reduce the cost of ramping-up a program or of producing small quantity production runs.

NEDC Sealing Solutions Commercial Grade Conductive Elastomers are made to meet the unique requirements of the Commercial marketplace. NEDC Sealing Solutions EMI shielding currently has in excess of 20 compounds available that offer special performance characteristics to insure that the correct performance needs are addressed for your application. If a special compound is needed, we have a Materials Specialist on board with over 40 years of experience in developing unique compounds for special applications. NEDC Sealing Solutions also offers new program as well as existing program design reviews that utilize our special manufacturing capabilities and EMI/RFI shielding materials to reduce the cost of your conductive gasketing needs.
NEDC Sealing Solutions is currently molding and extruding the following Commercial Grade materials: Silicone, Fluorosilicone and EPDM based materials with a wide range of fillers that include Silver/Aluminum, Silver/Copper, Silver/Glass, Silver/Nickel, Passivated Silver/Aluminum, Nickel Coated Graphite, and Carbon particles.
