Everyone knows that Small Business is America’s economic rocket fuel, employing 2/3 of the workforce in the US. While NEDC does not appear to be a small business, NEDC has all of the credentials necessary for SBLOs (Small Business Liason’s) requirements. NEDC is a Small, Woman-Owned business, certified by the Women’s Enterprise National Council in Washington D.C., and also by the Center for Women and Enterprise in Boston, MA. The SBA was established in 1953 by President Eisenhower, to help, counsel and assist Small Business in the US. NEDC is a proud member of the SBA and is grateful for its help over the years, including purchasing two buildings through their SBA504 program. NEDC’s 102,000 sqft facility is located in Methuen, MA. Methuen is a gateway city, in the 5th congressional district, near the communities that its employees are a part of. Although NEDC is still a small business in a legal sense, it is not a small business in a manufacturing sense.
