Water Jet Capabilities
Water Jet Cutting
New England Die Cutting/American EMI Solutions operates only with state-of-the-art equipment that can handle a variety of materials. The water jet cutting action takes place as a result of the ultra-high pressure water being forced through a pre-mounted sapphire orifice as small as .003 in (.076 mm). The pressurized water exits the orifice at extremely high velocities as a coherent water jet stream that produces a clean cut. This process allows for parts to be tightly nested thus maximizing material usage. We can cut Metal, Glass, Foam and all Non-Metallic Materials. We are able to cut with Abrasive and Non Abrasive. The size of the bed is 5' x 8'. Please provide Auto Cad files DXF.
Advantages of Water Jet Cutting:
- Extremely Accurate Cuts of Complex Parts
- Efficient/Maximizes Yield
- High Degree of Repeatability
- Overcomes Compression Distortions from Conventional Die Cutting
- Quick Prototypes
